Many writers’ today leave the ending of a story to be decided upon by the reader. I have chosen three stories: “The Horse Dealers Daughter”, “Jury of her Peers”, and “Taking Care”, and will discuss the implied ending of each.
In D.H Lawrence’s story “The Horse Dealer’s Daughter”, the implied ending that I assume the writer is trying to obtain is fairly obvious.
